How long does it take to find a nanny?+
Most families find and book a nanny within 24 hours. You can browse available nannies instantly, and Poppins helps you narrow down the perfect match in minutes. Once you've found your nanny, booking takes just a few clicks.
What if my nanny cancels last minute?+
While rare, if a nanny cancels within 48 hours of your booking, we'll immediately help you find a replacement at no extra booking fee. If we can't find a suitable replacement, you'll receive a full refund of both your booking fee and any payments made to the nanny.
Can I book a nanny for just a few hours?+
Absolutely! Our nannies are available for half-days (4 hours minimum), full days, multiple days, or even your entire trip. Rates are set by nannies and vary by destination and experience level.
What happens if there's an emergency?+
We have a 24/7 emergency support line you can call anytime. Every booking includes two emergency contacts, and we maintain regular check-ins throughout your trip. Your nanny also has emergency protocols and local emergency service contacts.
Are nannies insured?+
We require all nannies to carry liability insurance where available in their region. For destinations where this isn't standard, we provide guidance on coverage options and recommend families check their travel insurance policies.
Can I meet the nanny before my trip?+
Yes! Once you've booked, you can arrange a video call with your nanny to discuss your children's routine, preferences, and any special requirements. This helps both you and the nanny feel prepared and comfortable.
