1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Holiday Nannies, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Services
Holiday Nannies is a platform that connects families with independent childcare professionals ("nannies"). We facilitate the discovery and booking process but are not an employment agency, and nannies are not our employees.
3. Booking Fees
Our one-time platform booking fee is charged to families when confirming a booking. This fee covers platform access, vetting, and support services. Nanny rates are paid directly by families to nannies and are not collected by us.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations more than 14 days before booking: full refund of booking fee. 7–14 days before: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: no refund of booking fee. Nanny payment refunds follow each nanny's individual cancellation policy.
5. User Responsibilities
Families must provide accurate information about their childcare requirements and children's needs. Nannies must maintain current and accurate profile information and comply with all applicable laws. All users must treat others respectfully and professionally.
6. Safety and Conduct
Zero tolerance for abusive behaviour, discrimination, or illegal activity. We reserve the right to remove any user who violates our community standards.
7. Limitation of Liability
Holiday Nannies facilitates connections between families and nannies but cannot guarantee outcomes of those arrangements. Our liability is limited to the booking fee paid to us.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
